This last weekend we went camping at Jellystone Camping sites, which was pretty much a site made for children. It was great for us then! We went with our friends Richie and Sarah. It was a good thing for us since Dustin and I had always talked about going camping, but every time we planned something always seemed to come up. But this weekend we decided no matter what, we're going. It was great, we slept better than I thought we would, and so we will for sure go again! We wanted to use our camping stuff we got over a year and a half ago and we wanted to see if we would be able to still just go out camping with a baby, so we needed the practice!
Here we are with Richie and Sarah making tin foil dinners. We were pretty proud that we were able to set up the tent and build a fire in the dark.
Richie is excited about dinner!!
And it tasted good!!
It was super cold! Sarah trying to stay warm by the fire....
The next morning.....it rained. And we were going to make dutch oven potatoes for breakfast, so we had to get a little creative. So we made a little pile of coals under a tree, tried to keep them dry with the umbrella, and eventually drove the car up so we could have something to keep us dry and to sit on.
Our awesome set up!
Here is our great tent. It will be great for our growing family and we were excited. Accept for the fact that we had quite the mansion compared to Richie and Sarah...
But you can stand up in the tent! And yes, it was very cold!
We found a walking stick on Richie and Sarah's tent.
The camping site had all of these places to play, so Richie and Dustin had some fun on the jumping pillows. It didn't last long because once all the kids saw some adults jumping on them, they all flocked from all over the place to come jump with them.
And then we played some miniature golf! Dustin and I had never played together before, and let's just say Richie and Sarah beat us fair and square!
He's so cute! It finally started to warm up after we started playing.
So we roughed it was you can see :) But we're glad we went and can't wait to go again!!

Michigan Trip and Isabelle Photo Shoot
For Labor Day weekend Dustin and I went to Michigan to stay with Nate and Mari and have a college roommate reunion with Katherine and Michelle flying out as well. It was such a great weekend and so good to see friends! We went swimming in the lake, cooked donuts, played games, watched the BYU game, ate chicken pillows, and all sorts of good things! I miss my girls! This is when we got our new camera so the beginning of better pictures. Yeah! And of course Isabelle and her best buddy Dustin had a lot of fun playing together. She got lots of fun attention! She's adorable!
Here we are after we went to the lake, getting ready for the BYU game.
Mari is a pro at making donuts and I'd never made them before, but it was fun! Ok, so mostly I just took pictures. But it was still fun and they were so good!!
Michelle was our professional Fryer!
Applesauce donuts! Yum! We were sad that the Cider Mills didn't open until next week so we had to make our own donuts and they were delicious!
Chocolate donuts!!
Going for a walk after church.
Watching the BYU game....
More photos from our walk.
Fall!! I love Fall! It was so nice to see the leaves changing! And the cool air. Of course here is Dustin playing with Isabelle!
26-27 weeks along....
We also got to celebrate Nate's new job this weekend! It was a great weekend!
This is one of my favorites of the two of them.
A classic Michelle face! Love it!
Here are the girls! Sometimes I think we look just the same as we did 9 years ago freshman year!
Battling with Nate's awesome light sabers.
Getting ready to go for a walk at the botanical gardens.
So cute! They are adorable together!
What a great weekend! It was just nice to spend time with friends! So now someone has to get married or something so we can get together again!!
