So we've been trying to keep this busy boy busy and he sure is happier when he gets out and spends time with friends. How did I get such a social little boy??

A house with a view

OK so at least this is the view in the back of our house for the next year or so. They have already started some more construction in the distance and I'll be sad then they start building here but glad to enjoy the view for now!! 

Recent Projects

So we've been working on the house of course, what else is new right?? But here are some things we've been up to lately...

We moved the wall and had a contracter come in and frame and drywall.....

We worked on the front yard, moving some plants and digging up some grass and planting. 

This is how it looked a few weeks ago, we did move some more around and I'll post pictures as soon as we get our other plants in the mail and it looks done :)

I made some dry erase boards. 

We finally finished all of the painting on the main floor, finishing the painting in the bathroom and the chair rail. 

This is the entry with the drywall complete, moving the wall, adding french doors, putting a hole in the wall and adding a closet. We're still working on it but at least it is slowly getting done!! 

My laundry room and future linen closet with a sink!!! Yeah!!! Much better than everyone walking in the front door and seeing my washer and dryer. 

I made curtains for Conner's room. 

And some curtains for our room. We still have to paint our room and I might dye the curtains too depending on how they look once we paint. Simple but I like them!! 

We've been up to more but I'll post those soon. We are almost done with all the painting downstairs and eventually we'll put in a floor, but that won't be for a bit. 

Ohio Trip and Family Pictures

We recently had the opportunity to travel to Ohio (shout out! Go Buckeyes!) to visit Tiffani and Rick and their family for their little ladies' baby blessing. What a great trip! And the parentals-in-law also were there so it was so good to spend time with family! I had never been to Ada, Ohio before but we sure loved the little village. Yes, it is technically a village. How cute is that?!? 

So while there we of course had to sport our Buckeye gear (yes I found Conner's jacket at a second hand store in DC, it was waiting just for us to adopt it I swear!). And we got a few family shots while there which is great since almost all of our pictures are just of Conner or Dustin holding Conner since I'm usually the one taking them!! 

Getting some cuz time in as well! 

We matched, and I promise we didn't plan it! I just wish I had planned better for the cold! 

The whole gang! Conner was tired and hungry so a shot without him crying was rare her!

It was a great trip and we'll make it again for sure! Glad to have some more family somewhat close!
