Friends

So there are two other ladies that have girls that are close to Conner's age and so we have been doing things together since not long after they were born. Remember this picture??

Well now look at them!! SO fun to have such good friends and Conner LOVES playing with these little ladies!! It is fun to see them grow up together. 

Thanks ladies for coming over to visit! The best company and good food too!!

Lost Phone and Busch Gardens

So this week Dustin and I took a late Anniversary trip to Williamsburg because we got a free tonight stay at a Days Inn there. Mom and Dad and of course Sarah and Ben were so gracious as to watch Conner for two days while we went down.

Ok so it was a blast and we had SO much fun riding roller coasters and then going to the water park the next day. We LOVED the food, entertainment, rides and even the fact that the park is beautiful and super family friendly. I couldn't get over it. And since they are also associated with SeaWorld they also have some areas that are animal preserves and even have 4 bald eagles there who are now unable to fly due to injuries incurred in the wild and so were sent there to be protected. SO cool.

We even decided we know how to handle amusement parks in a heat index of 110 degrees. Get there right when it opens, ride all of the outside rides you want first, then go to the airconditioned ones when it starts to get super hot, then at 2 go back to your hotel and get food and take a nap from exhaustion from the heat and running around, then go back to an airconditioned show at the park (these were amazing, seriously I can't get over how professional they were) and get out at 6pm and then ride the rest of the rides you want. Done and done.

However, on our first ride of the day my dear cell phone tried to escape, apparently we were not good enough owners or something, and it took a nose dive off of the tallest roller coaster at the park by sliding out of Dustin's pocket. Thus I have NO numbers. So if you text or call forgive me when I ask who it is :) Or you can just text me your number now so I know :) Next time I have another back-up for numbers....But thank goodness to my gracious cousins who so kindly donated one of their old Sprint phones for me to use...I had no idea it would be SO expensive with no phone insurance to get another phone!!! It feels good to be connected with the world again....well somewhat.

Teeth

Conner the other day found my wallet and when I turned back around this is what I found....

Looks like dinner is on him tonight!! 

Conner now has three teeth, two on bottom and one on top and here are my attempts to get a picture. None of which were successful. 

 So I gave up and just got pictures of him playing.

Also while in Utah we decided we needed more pictures of us as a family and a good picture of Conner for mom to put on her wall, so hence the photo shoot but we thought they turned out pretty well. Conner was super hilarious and it was fun just watching him. Here's our smiley guy!!

Family Reunion

So we had the fabulous opportunity to go out to Utah recently to visit with family. We were able to see lots of my family, my sister and her husband, cousins, aunts uncles, Grandparents and dear dear friends!! It was SO good to see everyone and I'm SO grateful for all of their hospitality. It was seriously nice to see family, I sure wish we could see them more often! And we stayed with my high school best friend Trisha and her husbad who I hadn't seen in years. Loved it!! 

And of course seeing all of Dustin's family! We went to Zion and Pine Valley for the reunion. Conner LOVES his cousins and get so excited about having them play with him. Here are some of them playing with him and he just ate it up! 

Then with packing the car I couldn't put him down on the ground, so in the trunk he went and he thought it was the best place to hide.

 Conner doesn't use his pacifier like normal kids...it is a toy and he chews in it in the side of his mouth :)

 And nap time. I just can't get enough of watching him sleep it cracks me up every time!!

 Lots of chillin in the high chair. This guy knows how to relax and have a good time! He likes to put his feet up so if he's in the carseat or shopping cart he puts his feet up.

 Watched his first movie in the theater "Brave". I hope you can see him, he was the cutest thing I've seen with him glued on the screen.

 And he loves our water bottles. He can now get water out of them and it makes him SO excited!

Sure was a great trip and we're excited to go back soon!!
