Shenandoah Hike

We went for a hike with Sarah and Ben since the weather is beautiful we just had to take advantage of it! It was quite the adventure!! 

So what you ask does a 9 month old do on a 5 hour hike??

Play with a plastic spoon

Play with the sign posts

Eat your socks

Grab leaves, just your basic everyday things, you know. 

Here we are at the top!! We were expecting falls, but they dried up...not the most exciting, but you can't beat the view!!! 

Love it! 

Oh, and don't forget to play with your camelbak! 

It was an adventure and we had an encounter with bees but so glad we all came out fine! We'll be doing it again!! 

Great Falls Again!!

For my sister's birthday we went repelling at Great Falls and ate Chinese. It was fabulous. We sure love the weather and how great it is now. It is always a blast to be with family!

Smiley Boy

Conner chilling on the blanket I made for him to match his room....so yes it only took me like 10 months to finish....but hey it is done!! 

Conner loves looking out the windows and gets super excited.

My favorite part of the day is getting Conner out of bed and just seeing his smiley face. He is always standing up ready for me and excited to see me....except when he's chewing on the crib. Poor thing is destroyed, but it is still great!

Conner loves to play with the door stops. He'll just sit there and bounce them and has even figured out how to take them off, which is a bit scary, but we're working on it. 

And finally we bought a basketball for the little man, Dustin said it shouldn't have taken us so long, but hey he's pretty excited about it! Now just to get the hoop. 

This kid knows how to work the camera, I swear he's posing for me because he knows I'm taking pictures. What a ham!!

This is also one of my favorite faces. I see this when he follows me around the house. I love that I can hear his little hands pitter-patter behind me.

Friends

Conner missed his friends and was so glad to hang with them again!!! 

I can't get over how cute they are!! I know every mom jokes about their kids growing up together and being best friends and hopefully getting married (still hanging on to that hope C!) but seriously, I do think that even the little ones need friends. Conner gets so excited to see them and I love how they play together!! Friends are so important!!!

Cousins

So a few weeks ago we had some family in town and Conner was seriously in Heaven to be with his cousin. He followed him around everywhere and wanted to do whatever he did. Nap time was also interesting because he was so excited to play. My little social guy!!
